Color Separations

Our four color separation work is done on a Linotype-Hell S3400 high-end drum scanner. This scanner has a maximum artwork size of 19" x 24" providing a maximum image size of 19" x 23", and a maximum resolution of 19,200 DPI. The artwork must be flexible enough to mount on a round drum. Please call before creating any artwork specifically for this scanner. It is capable, along with experienced operators, of separating the most critical production work. The scanner allows us to adjust for press gain depending on the paper and press conditions, thus assuring you of the best image possible.

We can also get remarkable results from old, damaged, or poor photography and previously screened work. Let us help you make even the toughest customer supplied photography look great!

Ultra-Graphics can replace your FPO, or we can provide a low resolution sample for you to crop and place. Our high resolution version will automatically replace the low resolution image that you placed. We can also supply you with high resolution scans to disk for photo manipulation.
