Services - Halftone, Duotone, & Tritone Scanning

All of our halftoning is done on one of two high-end Screen DS-323 Scanners. These scanners allow us to reproduce an original and also adjust for press gain at the time of the scan in a scientific and repeatable fashion. We work with many printers to perfect the gain adjustment, thus assuring you of the best image possible.

We can also get remarkable results from old, damaged, or poor photography and previously screened work. Let us help you make even the toughest customer supplied photography look great!

Ultra-Graphics can replace your FPO, or we can provide a low resolution sample for you to crop and place. Our high resolution version will automatically replace the low resolution image that you placed. We can also supply you with high resolution scans to disk for photo manipulation.
