The Kodak Approval is a digital version of a Matchprint. It is created with an actual printing dot, therefore critical issues such as moiré and sharness are accurately represented on the proof. Additionally, the proof can be laminated directly onto most stocks. The Approval is a true contract proof that avoids the expense of film and Matchprint and gives you predictable results directly from your digital files to industry standards that can be consistantly matched on press.

For larger customers or repeat work, we even offer custom calibration of the device to actual press conditions. We will work with the printer to adjust for the exact press gain to futher enhance the accuracy of the proof.
