Lancaster Ultra-Graphics Relocates to New Corporate Headquarters Previous acquisition and expanded services more room for growth Lancaster – Lancaster UltraGraphics, the county's largest graphic digital imagery service bureau, has moved into their new corporate headquarters located in East Hempfield township near the Kellogg plant at Olde Forge Industrial Park. The six-acre location near Harrisburg Pike, Rt. 30 and Rt. 283, and the 12,500 square foot first phase of construction will be ideal for serving clients throughout the region. The second phase of construction will include an optional 15,000 square foot expansion which is already approved by the township. The building was designed by Professional Design and Construction, Inc. The purchase of Alphabet Graphics Pre-press in May of 2000 precipitated the need to construct a facility where the company could not only consolidate, but also grow. "We are very pleased to be able to offer our customers an expanded product line that provides both better quality and greater efficiency," says Steve Husson. "Our specialty in taking a customer's concept and translating it by processing digital files into a format that can be successfully reproduced. As other companies in our industry fade away, the need for our expertise in fields such as color separation, typography, conventional pre-press and digital imaging are expanding. There just aren't that many places that offer the depth of service and technical knowledge that we provide to our customers." Lancaster Ultra-Graphics was founded by Fred Husson in 1987 after he spent over 25 years in the printing business. Steve Husson, Husson's son, became president of the company in 1992. The firm specializes in helping customers achieve high quality, print-ready electronic output of their artwork, photos and documents. Ultra-Graphics also provides in-house, short-run large format digital printing and finishing, CD ROM mastering and duplication, and high quality digital proofing services. Additional services which will be offered after the move include fine art reproduction using archival quality inks and acid free papers and digital short-run printing to meet both fast turn around and various quality requirements.
