What should I send along with my job so that all necessary information is included?

Answer:

While there are several software packages that claim to "prepare" files for output we recommend these specific steps: LASER PROOFS - Make sure that your latest set of laser proofs are supplied. If you had problems outputting your lasers, we will probably have the same problems with the files. We prefer same size color broken lasers. FONTS - If you haven't already supplied fonts, they should be included with the job. In most cases postscript fonts work more reliably than true type fonts. GRAPHICS - Any graphics and related files should also be supplied. We may need the original application files to perform some trapping, so always include them. JOB SPECIFICATION SHEET - Please use our free job specification sheets to list the files and pages we are to output, number of colors, film specifications, proofing required, and any special instructions.
